APPROVAL OF THE AMENDED AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION AND THE SCHOOL BOARD OF SARASOTA COUNTY, FLORIDA FOR THE WALK AND ROLL SARASOTA PROJECT
Description
Amended agreement will provide $95,355 from the Florida Department of Transportation for the Walk and Roll Sarasota project to encourage students to walk and/or bicycle to school, and to educate students about pedestrian and bicycle safety. The agreement is effective until June 30, 2014.
Recommendation
That the First Amendment to State of Florida Department of Transportation Joint Project Agreement for the Walk and Roll Sarasota Project be approved as presented.
